Isos Website Accessibility Statement

The Isos Group of companies wish to provide websites that are easily used by our customers. We have sought to include a number of features that help with this and will keep the sites under review for any further improvements or additions that might be made.

Using the Website

Overall

The design of our sites aims to meet the Priority A and AA guidelines of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines. If we make a mistake and you find a difficulty in accessing any part of our site, please let us know using the Contact Us and we will seek to put things right.

All Isos sites use the same approach to navigation within them, with links set out at the top and left hand side of the site. There is an email link at the bottom of every page should you experience any problems.

Text Size

If the text size is too small or too large you can change it using the following instructions for your particular browser:

For Internet Explorer browsers

a) Open the ' View ' menu with your mouse, or by pressing ' Alt'+'V ' .

b) Select the ' Text Size ' option with your mouse, or by pressing ' X ' .

c) Choose the text size you require with your mouse or by using the up and down arrow keys and pressing 'Enter' or by clicking on it.

d) If you have Internet Explorer 7, you can also increase the text size using the zoom tool which is shown in the bottom right hand corner of the browser by a magnifying glass and 100%. Or go to Page in the top toolbar and select Zoom.

 

For Firefox browsers

a) Open the ' View ' menu with your mouse, or by pressing ' Alt '+' V '.

b) Select the ' Text Size ' option with your mouse or by pressing ' S ' twice.

c) Increase or decrease the text size with your mouse or by using the up and down arrow keys and pressing 'Enter'.

d) You can also press ' Ctrl ' and ' + ' to increase the text size, ' Ctrl ' and ' - ' to decrease the text size. ' Ctrl ' and ' 0 ' returns you to the default size.

 

For Netscape browsers

a) Click on the ' View ' menu with your mouse, or by pressing ' Alt '+' V ' .

b) Click on the ' Text Zoom ' option with your mouse, or by pressing ' Z ' .

c) Click on the text size you want with your mouse, or use the up and down keys and then 'Enter' to select the text size you want .

 

For Opera browsers

You can easily make both text and graphics larger or smaller using the numberpad ' + ' and ' - ' keys. Each press will increase or decrease the size by 10%.

Images

We include a number of pictures for illustration or interest, but all these are given appropriate descriptions in text ("ALT texts") as recommended by internationally agreed guidelines.

Print Friendly

We provide a print-friendly option for each page. Simple press the Print friendly link at the very top of the page. This will open up your print facility and will print only the content and selected images relevant to the text. This saves on paper and ink. Should you wish to print the entire page, logo's and effect simply use the print page facility in the drop down list in your browser.

Terminology

We try to write clearly and use everyday words for our information. We will try not to use abbreviations unless necessary and aim to explain things in a simple to understand manner, that will appeal to all users of the site.

Screen Resolution

The site is best viewed using a screen resolution of 800 x 600 or higher and is designed to be compatible with Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4 onwards.

Unable to open a PDF?

Certain versions of Internet Explorer and Netscape Navigator don't allow PDF files to display in your browser window. To view them, hold the cursor over the PDF link and right click the mouse. Select "Save target as". Save the PDF to an appropriate location then double-click on the file to open it in the new location.
