Historic Conversions
Isos recognises that many people, particularly single people, wish to live in town centre locations with local facilities close by. Vacant land in such locations is usually rare and this has led us to consider the conversion of existing, often vacant, buildings as an alternative. The organisation has over the years converted a wide variety of buildings that have outlived their previous use, including two hotels, three granaries, a brewery, a church, a school, a printworks, as well as many derelict upper floors above shops in town and city centre locations.
