HomeBuy is a Government initiative to help first-time buyers, those re-entering the market, key workers and households renting from a private landlord, a housing association or a council to buy a home.

Isos is the government's HomeBuy Agent for Tyne & Wear and Northumberland. Our role is to be a first point of contact for anyone who cannot afford to buy a home on the open market. We offer a range of affordable home ownership options, and will provide help and advice on all aspects of buying an affordable home.

We work with our partners, house builders and other housing associations, to promote HomeBuy on a range of developments throughout Tyne & Wear and Northumberland.

Whilst our partners build and sell the homes, you must apply to and be approved by Isos to benefit from the scheme. You can apply online or download an application form.
