CMH moves on up to new town centre office

A new town centre office base for Castle Morpeth Housing (CMH) opened on Monday morning (9th November), with the aim to provide an improved range of services for the company's customers.

CMH, part of the Isos Group, has moved into the brand new Sanderson Arcade development in the centre of Morpeth, which will allow tenants easy access to make enquiries and get advice.

Managing director Tina Drury is pleased the new office is so conveniently located, having previously been based at Longhirst Hall outside Morpeth ever since the company was formed two years ago.

The new office has a dedicated interview room so tenants can enquire about issues in a confidential environment and there will be public internet access so tenants can place bids for properties they want to be considered for within the Northumberland Homefinder scheme - commonly known as the Choice Based Lettings scheme.

Tina is even starting up the provision of a confidential waste disposal system, so tenants can guard against the risk of identity theft, free of charge.

She said: "Working from a town centre, purpose built office is so much better for our tenants than our old base at Longhirst.

"Being in the centre of Morpeth means all our tenants will have the chance to talk to us in person, as we are now accessible by public transport.

"It's also better for our staff to be in a modern, town centre office with all the services they need right on the doorstep.

"The Sanderson Arcade development is already proving popular and we're pleased to be right at the heart of it all."

The Castle Morpeth Housing office will be open from 8.30am to 5pm from Monday to Thursday, and 8.30am to 4.30pm on Fridays.

The office is located on the first floor of Owen House, on the north side of the Sanderson Arcade development, opposite the new bus station.
