II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s):
Fitted kitchens. Isos Group wishes to engage five suitably qualified manufacturers under a 4 year framework agreement to provide a fully managed kitchen supply service across its housing stock. It is expected that a maximum of two suppliers will receive the initial annual packages available. The remaining framework suppliers may in future receive packages of work through the award of call-off contracts if required by the Isos Group. Providers must be able to fulfill the requirements outlined in the specification part of this tender whilst offering value for money. Annual expenditure on kitchens is expected to equate to £430,908 per annum. The housing stock is located across the north-east region, the most northerly being Berwick and the most southerly being Stockton on Tees, stretching from Carlisle to the east coast. Concentrations of properties in this tender will be found particularly in Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead, North Tyneside, South Tyneside, Tynedale and Castle Morpeth. The properties where kitchens are to be supplied might be in any of the Isos housing stock. It should be noted that this contract opportunity covers the survey, quotation and supply of kitchens specifically excluding the fitting thereof.
