Your health and safety is of the highest priority to us. For this reason you need to be aware of a small possibility that your home may contain traces of asbestos.
Asbestos was widely used in the construction industry from the 1950s through to the mid 1980s, although not finally banned until 1999. It can be found in many buildings and was used in a variety of building materials. Left undisturbed, asbestos poses little danger, therefore it should not be cause for concern. However, we would like to remind you not to make alterations to your home (including drilling into walls, ceilings and floors) without prior approval.
In line with current legislation, from time to time we may inspect properties to look for signs of asbestos. You will be given prior notification if your property is to be inspected.
