Moving out or moving on

Everyone needs a change of scenery once in a while, and although we want you to enjoy living in our homes for a long time, we know there comes a time when people need to move on.

Moving out: ending your tenancy

If you want to move out you need to give us four weeks’ notice. You’ll need to contact us by phone, email or post. We’ll be in touch to acknowledge that you want to end your tenancy and send you information on the process.

You’ll need to leave your home clean, tidy and in a good condition, and your rent will need to be paid up to date.

Before you move out we’ll arrange a visit to inspect your property. Keeping your home in good condition will help you avoid being charged for any damages or time Isos has to spend cleaning the property – so it’s important you let us in for the inspection.

Don’t forget to settle any utility bills (gas, water, electric) and redirect your post before you go!

Moving on: finding your next home

Isos offers a few different options for those looking to move. Find out more below...

Isos tenants can register with us to transfer to another Isos property better suited to their needs. All applications are held on a list and matched with suitable properties when they become available. For more information call 0300 300 1505 or email
